Barton L. Kaufman
Chairman & Chief Executive OfficerBart graduated from the Indiana University School of Business majoring in life insurance (BS) in 1962 where he was a two-time All Big Ten baseball player finishing as the second leading hitter in the Big Ten in 1961.
He graduated from the Indiana University School of Law (Bloomington) (JD) in 1965.
He joined his father in business after graduation and was awarded his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1966.
He immediately qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table and in 1974 became a Charter Member of the Top of the Table comprised of its leading members. Currently he is one of only 12 men in the world to have earned continuous qualification since inception.
He is a past president of the International Forum. He has spoken at numerous meetings including The Notre Dame Tax and Estate Planning Institute, The Mid-West Tax Institute, The Top of the Table, The International Forum and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting which he served as a member of the Board of Directors.
He is active in numerous philanthropies including the Indiana University Foundation, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and Congregation Beth El Zedeck. He and his wife Judy are the parents of four children and thirteen grandchildren.
